This Ferrari 355 Spider F1 was sold new by Ferrari of Atlanta, on February 12, 1999. It lived much of its life in California and has been local to the Pacific Northwest since August of 2010. This Ferrari was recently traded to our dealership, as part of a multi-trade deal for an F12 Berlinetta. Power is from a 3.5L V8 which produces 375HP @ 8,250RPM. This 355 Spider is equipped with the F1 paddle shift transmission, which was developed jointly by Ferrari and Magneti Marelli, first introduced as an option on the F355 series.
Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo has maintained this Ferrari since approximately 2015. We have records that"ll accompany the sale of this Ferrari, documenting the "major service" performed within just the last 100 miles! Additional service work performed by our dealership includes the refinishing of the instrument cluster surround, to correct for a minimal amount of leather shrinkage that was occurring – a common issue on older Ferraris. Prior service records indicate that earlier "major service" and clutch were performed by Prestige Autohaus, in Walnut Creek, CA @ approximately 16,000 miles. The interior of this Ferrari is in very good condition, none of the "stick bits" that you"ll typically find – all have been refinished. The climate controls are in great condition, the passenger side airbag cover isn"t showing any shrinking, or curling at the edges and the seats have been well cared for over the years.
The previous owner had fabspeed headers installed, along with a Larini High Performance Exhaust System. In addition to the weight savings and performance gains, this 355 Spider now sounds like a true race car! Factory wheels have been upgraded to HRE alloys and are wearing nearly brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around. This is a great example of a tastefully modified Ferrari "driver" and is ready for you to enjoy for years to come!
