1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport "CLASSIC", 4.0L Inline 6, Automatic transmission, Good condition, Low miles (106k miles) for a Cherokee of this age, everything works: 4-Wheel Drive with Hi/Lo Fog/Running Lights Rear Window Washer/Wiper Rear Window Defrost Full-Length Roof Rack Tilt Steering Wheel Power Windows Power Locks ABS Trailer/Towing Package A/C with new compressor 16" Factory/OEM Alloy wheels (upgraded from stock 15" steel wheels) All-Weather Floor Mats (Front & Rear) & Cargo Mat This Jeep has a clean CarFAX, I am the 3rd owner & I have the clean title in hand. The A/C blows cold & heat/defrost warms up quickly. I purchased the Jeep with the 15” stock OEM steel wheels & replaced them with new 16” Factory/OEM alloy wheels. Regular maintenance was always performed at my local ASE certified mechanic & recent service includes brakes & all fluids including front/rear differential, transfer case & transmission service.
There are ZERO rips, cracks or tears in the upholstery & the exterior is straight & solid & has never been in an accident. The paint is good with the exception of an easy-to-fix parking lot scratch that someone left me on the driver side back door a couple of weeks ago (see final photo). This is not a pristine show car, so it has a few rock chips & minor paint scratches & imperfections to be expected on a 20+ year old vehicle.
This Jeep has not been taken off-road but I use it as Jeeps were intended . . to blast thru the winter weather safely & dependably. It has very low miles for a car this age & has averaged a little over 5,000 miles /year, about ⅓ the national average, so you should expect to get many great years of reliable use.
