1998 Honda Prelude .SH. Stock Eucalyptus Green exterior and Ivory/Tan interior. This Prelude has 204,439 miles. This car was purchased in 1998 at Steve Hopkins Honda in Fairfield, CA, and it has remained with its original owners in the Sacramento, CA region. Full service records from 1998 to 2019 will be made available to the buyer, as well as the original dealer sticker and manuals. Everything is stock, except for the front bumper which was replaced after being dented on a parking post. When the bumper was replaced, the hood was repainted for blending purposes, but the old rock/pebble pockmarks can still be seen under the new paint. This car has been loved on for 21 years with many hours of detailing, and the condition of the exterior and interior are testaments to that.
The clean CARFAX from 9/14/2019 verifies single ownership and no accidents. The battery was replaced in the last three months. Serpentine and power steering belts were replaced in in 2018. In 2017, Mel Rapton Honda removed the intake manifold, then drilled and cleaned out the EGR passages. Struts and shocks were replaced in 2010. Though the car was just re-registered for road use, it has mostly been in storage and unused the past two years. This Prelude passed its CA smog check on 8/8/2019, and this is transferable to a new owner for 90 days, or until 11/8/2019. On 9/4/2019, the owner requested a safety inspection from a licensed AAA mechanic in Sacramento, and a copy of that report is included among the photographs of the car. Most notable are torn CV boots that will need to be replaced, as well as the distributor cap. Also, the ATTS warning light has been displaying on and off. Overall, this Prelude runs beautifully.
