This 1997 Toyota 4Runner SR5 5 Speed 4x4 is an extremely rare car. There are no others available in America that compare, however there are recent sales comparisons from March 2020 and the past several years on bringatrailer (most relevant March sale $18,500).
I purchased the truck in 2011 in Los Angeles, in preparation for moving home to Chicago. At that time I had a specialist do all sorts of preventive work (shown in my service records example) includingtiming belt, water pump, etc. They used the equivalent of OEM parts to the best of their ability, for example Bosch makes certain parts for Toyota (at least back then). I also put in a touch screen, reverse camera, and speakers (and a mic which currently doesn"t work). There has also been work done on the clutch.
Garage kept - this is not my primary car and I pay $250 for parking (as a secondary SUV) which is the main reason for selling. Currently the car is parked at my father"s home, in Highland Park. If you"re located downtown and prefer not to travel, I could meet with a day or two of notice.
I"d certainly consider matching a comparison active listing or comp, listed on BaT etc. Please present anything you deem suitable. What I"d be looking for in a comparison sale:

I"d encourage serious buyers to to visit bringatrailer and select to search their records for closed sales, then type "4runner 5 speed". There are a handful which are 4x4 + 5 speed in this generation/body style. I"ve priced the vehicle significantly less than the most relevant comparison, due to having the vehicle located in the Midwest for 9 years - despite being garaged, the inherent/moderate rust.
