This auction is for a 1997 jaguar xj6. It has a 4.0 liter in line six cylinder engine. First the good . the engine and transmission work very well. I just drove it back and forth to work today and it is a blast to drive. It has decent tires that have plenty of tread. The wheels look great for the age of the car. I"d say they are an 8 out of 10. The interior upholstery is in very good condition with the exception of the drivers seat. It has cracks and a hole as shown in the picture. The body panels are in good shape. No rust except for a couple small rust bubbles on the roof as shown. All the lights, mirrors, and windows are intact and undamaged. It has an aftermarket alpine stereo. And it has a clean title. Now for the not so good. . The car has a couple small leaks. The paint is pretty bad. Damn blue cars. It"s not very noticeable from a distance but up close, it"s not great. The air conditioning doesn"t seem to be blowing very cold. May need charged. It ran out of inspection at the end of March, but due to the virus it"s good until the end of may. I don"t really want to be bothered getting it inspected. We just want to get rid of it. The center console cup holder on these things is notorious and this one is no exception. It will not stay latched on the closed position. There are cracks here and there in the interior wood trim but all of it is there and the cracks are not very noticeable. Overall the car is in ok shape and does drive well. I"ve taken it to NYC from York PA 3 times in the last year and a half. As always, ask questions before bidding. Thank you
