Vehicle description
Re-listed after previous high bidder failed to pay. He apparently didn"t think it"d cost him money to ship the vehicle to Russia. He was the only person that gave me a poor rating out of all my transactions, so that is where my new 90% rating comes from.
This was my daily driver since I bought it back in the winter. It had its quirks (barely-there AC, busted window washer fluid system, rust spots, no map lights, etc) but I never had any issues that made me feel unsure about its reliability. I was told by the mechanics at a local Goodyear repair shop that it was in good mechanical shape about two months ago. I really, really loved this car.
With its mileage (over-stated in description) and overall condition before the flood, I have confidence there are many salvageable parts but *I won"t make guesses as to what they are because I"m far from a mechanic*. I don"t want to see this thing wasted at a metal scrap lot so I"m selling the Jaguar in hopes that its good parts are salvaged. If you look online, you"ll find it"s actually worth more in parts than it was running.
I want to be as clear as possible. This car no longer starts after being in the Dane County, Wisconsin floods- water was very close to or even reached the undercarriage. The electric glitched out and a window isn"t up all the way (sealed from weather with plastic). Again, this isn"t the only problem it has. It is being sold *as-is* and unless you are a mechanical genius, I recommend that it is parted out.
The current title (in hand) is registered as clear but I have listed it as water damaged since it will more than likely need to be re-titled to reflect this (I may do so before the sale is finalized if law requires). Buyer is responsible to have the vehicle picked up from my house within two weeks of final sale or sale will be cancelled and deposit will not be refunded. I"m a straightforward guy so I"ll happily answer any questions.
