Up for sale is my "97 GMC Suburban 2500 with only 94k miles. The 5.7L 350 V8 engine runs great. 4L80e Transmission shifts and operates smoothly. Truck has a good working push-button 4 wheel drive and 4.10 limited slip rear end. 8 lug steel wheels. GVWR of 8600lbs. Trailer hitch, aftermarket dual exhaust, running boards, new battery, and factory under-hood storage box.
Interior is very nice. Power leather seats with a rare 60/40 front split. 3rd row seat is included and in nice shape. Drivers seat shows some wear and has a split in the seam. Radio, A/C, and front heat function as they should. However, it appears the rear heater lines have been disconnected. The entire A/C system was replaced by the previous owner, including all new lines to the rear of the vehicle.
Exterior is in very nice shape considering the age of the vehicle. There are paint imperfections including stone chips on the hood and some minor scratches throughout. Drivers side fender has a paint crack near grill, drivers door has some clear coat peeling, and roof has paint fade, as can be seen in the photos. Truck is virtually rust free. Rear quarters, sill plates, fenders and rockers are free of any rust or paint bubbles. There is some rust on the lower seam of the passenger doors. Frame is clean with only minor surface rust. Bumpers and straight and rust free.
I have only owned this truck for a short time, but it seems to run and drive perfectly. It will cruise down the interstate at 80mph with no hesitation, vibrations, or abnormal noises. I did notice a slight brake pulsation at highway speeds, but other than that, no complaints. The brake lines have been replaced, but the fuel lines appear to be original and may need replacement at some point. Tires have good tread but some minor dry rot. No major fluid leaks. Rear of engine pan and front of transmission pan appear wet at times, but never any visible puddles on the garage floor. I have a folder full of repair receipts from the previous owner.
This has been a secondary vehicle for me, and I no longer have a use for it. I have done my best to describe the vehicle and minor flaws as I see them. Keep in mind this is a 24 year old vehicle, therefor it is not perfect, and I am not advertising it to be. Vehicle is sold AS-IS with NO WARRANTY of any kind.
