Vehicle description
I have had several attempts by people who either do not have the money or understand what they are doing on and do not know that they will need to pay the deposit within 24 hours of the auction closing and the balance within 3 days per eBay. IN LIGHT OF THIS - IF YOU DO NOT HAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK OF AT LEAST 25 TRANSACTIONS I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR BID - SO DO NOT BID! ! This was my husbands “project car”, but he passed away 6 months ago. It has been sitting ever since. Ask all questions PRIOR TO THE AUCTION ENDING! We bought the Jeep in 2000 as the second owners. Please note the Autocheck report show 3 owners because I had to remove my husband’s name from the title in order to sell it - we drove it to my sons college graduation in 2000 so I know for a fact we purchased it in 2000. There are also other errors in that report. This is what I know about the Jeep: It runs, but overheats - the water pump was replaced about 18 months ago. There is a radiator flush kit & thermostat included as that was my husbands next try to solve the overheating. There is a slow leak from the undercarriage - likely the oil pan. The driver seat needs some repair, but it is usable as is. The headliner needs to be replaced (see photo). The rear hatch needs new lifts - we replaced them once years ago. Likely needs a new battery as it tries to turn over but there’s not enough juice. If you’re handy, this would make a good camping/hunting truck without much effort. To restore her to near perfect would cost a bit, but I haven’t seen this type of trans - it can be 2WD or easily switch to 4WD from the drivers seat - for sale in a long time. To switch between the drives (2WD/4WD) is done like switching from drive to reverse - the controls are right next to the shifter. Please email with any questions BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS OR I WILL NOT ANSWER! The Jeep is currently 40 minutes outside Atlanta, Georgia. You will be responsible for all costs to get the Jeep to you - local towing will range from $100-300 & to ship out of state starts at $300-1500 depending on distance - SO IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO PURCHASE & TOW OR SHIP DO NOT BID.
