This is a nice Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0L engine, Police Pkg. It has 147k miles it has a whole list of new parts. Just to name a few,
new Monroe Sensatrac shocks, new steering stabilizer and Lift gate struts new brakes (rotors, pads, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders) new stainless exhaust, muffler, catalytic converter, O2 Sensor new battery, new serpentine belt, new lower heater hose newer Radiator (replaced 2 yrs ago) new Oil Sending Unit with gauge new Distributor Cap, Rotor, Pickup Coil and Idle Control Sensor
*15% Tint on side & back window *Genuine Jeep factory aluminum oem rims (factory spare tire) *Only 3 owners (we"re the 3rd & 4th) *No accident history
*Originally selling for $6,000 but now it needs floor pans, so this is a good deal*
This jeep runs and drives great everything works good it is 4x4. AC works well. Was in the process of rebuilding it, so this is what it does need :
- Front floor pans. Normal for this 23yr vehicle. Rocker panels are in decent shape. - Headliner - Heater blower works but only on high - ABS light is on so it may need to be serviced or replaced -Front Vinyl seats have some light cracking (driver"s side is the worst) -Upper radiator hose is due to be replaced. Lower radiator hose is brand new. - Battery Tray needs a new hold down bracket -Cd Player Radio works but the power button it hard to press -Steering wheel is not centered because it needs the Gearbox Pitman Arm -Original Paint is in good shape and with a deep polish it would look great. No flaking. Some minor dents on both sides.
That"s as accurate as I can describe it. It is a 23 year old vehicle that can easily be finished and be a fun classic truck to drive. It is a rare 1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic/Sport with the factory "Police Package". Which includes a Certified & Calibrated 120 mph speedometer, 1.5" higher suspension and extended Idle switch. It has "plus 1" Goodyear Wrangler Tires, all matching with great tread.
