1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic Calling all Jeep lovers , collectors , off-road enthusiasts and car restorers ! Super RARE 1996 Navy Blue Jeep Cherokee Classic 4X4 5 SPEED MANUAL with Off Road Package. Jeep has 288,591 miles on it and runs Fantastic!. The original 6-cylinder engine has been well maintained in its current ownership with regular oil changes and speedy repairs and replacements. 4X4 works excellent and has proven itself time and again in the deepest snow. Comes with off-road package (fog lights and tow hooks), jack stand, full sized spare tire and original owner’s manual and trailer hitch. Clean title and state of RI inspection sticker valid through April 2021. These jeeps are classic American icons and are becoming increasingly harder to find and manual transmissions are virtually impossible to find. Please note I am disclosing all the issues I am aware of, any other issues will be the potential buyers responsibility to uncover in a routine inspection. Truck to be sold as is. · The paint work is fading and/or deteriorating in some areas (refer to pictures) · Floorboards are rotting away in certain areas, there are no major structural issues you can still sit in safely and haul heavy stuff but the floor is wearing out in many places and will need attention especially if the truck remains in New England or similar climate. (refer to pictures) · Some items on the dashboard are no longer working like the temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge. An auxiliary temperature gauge was installed a few years ago. · The heat and AC do not work, the fans blow but do not generate heat. · The emergency brake doesn’t work very well, it likely just needs to be tightened.
