Vehicle description

If you"ve been looking for one of these, you will be hard pressed to find a better example. I had searched patiently before finding this one from the previous owner. The previous owner from Florida had kept the vehicle in a climate controlled garage and drove the vehicle very little. I purchased and replaced rear shocks with Bilsteins, had OEM stereo professionally rebuilt, and installed 4 new tires. I also changed all fluids (oil, transmission, brake, antifreeze, and rear differential) and presently maintain with Amsoil for all of them. I installed new custom fit front and rear floor mats and custom fit trunk liner. I do have the original sheepskin floor mats which are in great condition that came with the vehicle when it sold originally in 1996 at over $64k. Both exterior and interior are in showroom condition. This Vanden Plas is amazing to drive. Needs nothing. Engine compartment is extremely clean. A/C is ice cold and even the trunk is air conditioned. Included are 2 sets of keys and fobs and all manuals as well. The 4.0L V6 delivers great power and decent gas mileage at 17 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. Motor is bulletproof and with continued Amsoil maintenance, 300k+ miles would not surprise. Current odometer reading is under 46k. The Kingfisher Blue color in this Vanden Plas model is sought after and hard to find. The interior is beige leather and has contrast piping which is limited to the Vanden Plas. The wheels seen on the car are the premium original factory wheels and there are also four additional Pirelli tires that are mounted on Jaguar alloy wheels that will be included. I will gladly assist your shipper or pick you up at airport if you wish to fly in and drive home. The reason for selling is that I have downsized and wish to free up garage space used for the Jaguar that I do not drive as frequent as I used to.
The only flaw if you can call it that is a scratch over the chrome front grill (see last photo) that happened as so: while stopped at a stop sign, a crossing guard motioned for the line I was in to go and the car in front of me started to go and then abruptly stopped for no apparent reason which resulted in the scratch.
Bidding starts at $16,000 with no reserve.
