This Roadster has a lot going for it: · It was one of the original Z3’s that BMW produced – so you can own an original of the series · It is what I call “British Racing Green” like the old Jag E-types used to have – with tan leather interior · Special Chrome Wheels – I has not seen these on ANY other Z3 · Added Dinan Intake, Exhaust, Computer, and Floor Mats – adds class, roar, and torque · Original Interior and Paint · Wide tread Continental Tires that have plenty of tread on them · Aftermarket Stereo · Beautiful and eye-catching – you will get plenty of comments on this The Story: I was the second owner who purchased it at a Mercedes dealership in Naperville IL in 1997. I added the Dinan parts – Laurel BMW in Hinsdale IL did the work. The longest trips this car has had is from Chicago to Louisville then Louisville to Nashville. The Z3 was stored every winter and was babied every summer. It is in beautiful shape. There are very few nicks and scratches that you would expect from a 23 year old car. That makes it about 2 years away from becoming a classic car. After checking the web and other personal sources, I can definitively say that there are VERY few Z3’s circa ‘96 ’97 that have less than 37K mile on them. That leaves you with MANY miles of fun left on this sports Roadster. The car is in great working order; ready for top down excitement. It corners on a dime and the engine rev’s right in tempo with exciting a corner.
