Vehicle description
Well, here she is in all her glory! After much deliberation, I"ve decided to sell my baby to a good home. From what I understand, this is a rarer California edition truck that was manufactured in 1994, though it is titled as a 1995. By California edition, it has 2 O2 sensors on the exhaust end for tighter emission control. At the end of the day, she still has the venerable 22RE under the hood. As you can see, I"ve added a few upgrade to her over the years. However, the vehicle is 26 years old. So, she will need some TLC. I"ll do my best to list addons and repairs, as well as what ails her. It is also important to note that the parts I"ve added were made specifically for these year truck and not some modified aftermarket parts.
Armor: - Addicted Offroad front bumper - Stubbs 30 degree cantilever rock slider - All-Pro Offroad rear bumper - this is the ONLY one in existence as a prototype that I had purchased from them; it was actually mounted on the owner"s truck
Recovery: - Warn M8000 winch: I have never used this winch, though it"s been mounted on the bumper; it"s been protected under a cover, so no worries; comes with manual and remote - 2 shackles
Electrical: - Hella flood lights with dash installed switch - Dual battery setup with an Oddessey secondary battery - Hell Roaring battery isolator which are legendary if you"re not familiar with them; 3 way switch from the cab - Blue Sea fusebox mounted to a custom made drawer behind the driver"s seat; drawer has an area for an inverter or compressor (not included); 4 x 12V sockets - Primary cabin wiring for the secondary battery are high end pure copper KnuKonceptz silicone insulated wiring.
Refrigerator/Freezer is not part of the sale but optional purchase for $500. Want to have a cold one in the middle of the desert, or even a block of ice, not a problem with this fridge/freezer. It"s perfectly sized for the vehicle at 14 quarts. Capacity is like one of those old school Igloo cooler you see construction workers use. Minus the melting ice, of course.
Rubber: - BFG All Terrain KO2 tires - a little less then 20,000 miles on them; 33 x 10.5 x 15 inch rims - Rims - Thompson rims with McMaster wheel stud locks - Aisin manual wheel locks - "bombproof", enough saidCabin: - Pioneer CD/radio with detachable face - Cobra 148 GTL CB radio with antenna - not sure if it is working but these CB radios have a cult following; this is the original not the re-release from a few years back; collector"s item essentially; the microphone is included, too (the button mount on it is broken; only cosmetic, though) - Halon fire extinguisher - driver front seat mounted; for electrical fire
Bed: - Bedliner - duh! - Amp Research BedXtender HD Sport - this thing is awesome!; can hold cargo, extend bed to 8ft (that"s right!), and even detach as a bench - Bestop Supertop - this thing is even more awesome!; you will be the envy of jeep owners; I have a brand new fabric top that hasn"t been installed, you can have the full use of a truck bed without the hassle of removing a heavy hard shell - 3 bike fork mounts - I will include a Tailgator, which is a rear bike carrier meant for a truck"s tailgate
Upgrades/Repairs: - New radiator - New fan clutch - New front brake pads and rotors - Clutch - replaced about 70,000 miles ago - Timing belt - Heating block - in case you head to colder climate; it came with the truck; I"ve never used it (TX), so not sure if it works - Hitch Harness - same thing, came with it, not sure if it works
And finally what I need any potential buyer to know what he/she is getting into. Please ask any questions before you bid, as All Sales are Final! I will do my best to answer your questions, but at the end of the day, I"m not a professional mechanic.
Here are the things I know: - Exhaust leak - Oil leak - Windshield fluid reservoir leaks - easy fix I would imagine - Needs a new A/C compressor - Suspension squeaky - may need new shocks? - Steering makes a clunking noise if I turn it really sharp - it has always been that way since I purchased it 8 years ago - Driver seatbelt doesn"t retract easily - A slight crack on the windshield in front of the driver"s side - was like that when I had purchased it, as well - The primary battery may need to be replaced, as I"ve had to use the secondary battery to start it - Speaker wire is detached - Upholstery is mostly in excellent condition except the driver seat (picture) and headrest
Extras: - 2 wheel spacers - came with the truck - Downey torsion bars - these are legendary and no longer available; rare find
While I prefer local pickup, shipping is an option for the buyer. However, it will be the responsibility of the buyer to handle that should that be the case.
Also, this is my daily driver while it is being auctioned. So, the mileage will change slightly.
