Vehicle description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. In 1995 SLP built 671 Firehawks. Of those 671, only 6 came this color. Of those 6 cars, only 3 were 6 speeds. Of those 3 cars, only 2 had t-tops. Of those 2, only 1 had leather. This is a true collector that will only gain value. Vehicle History: My friend’s Grandpa ordered this carin spring 1994 and owned this into the 2000’s when he sold it to his grandson(my friend of 30 years) to make room for a special order C6 Z/06. My friendowned and babied it until he had to sell it to buy his first house. I couldn’t buy it at the time, but kept in contact with the new owners (that only lived a few miles from me). When they were ready to sell the car I bought it and began assembling parts for a no expenses spared 383 stroker build (about $13k by the end). It has a clean title, has always been waxed/detailed/garaged, has NEVER been smoked in or had pets in it, and is in damn near new condition. This vehicle would score well on a true 100 point scale and will easily win in local or regional car shows. Vehicle Specs: Factory SLP 320hp/342trq LT1, T56 6 speed manual, 3.73 limited slip, loaded with every option. SLP #573 of 671. I can guarantee this one doesn"t "sound like the one your buddy had," in fact, it doesn"t sound like any LT car I"ve ever heard. Make no mistake about it, this is a monster to drive. This thing runs like a big block in a 60’s drag car. It’s very drivable, but it’s an animal. You won’t daily drive this car, it’s not good for college, and I wouldn’t buy it for your son that wants a cool car. Ibroke this in with Joe Gibbs racing oil (first 45 minutes of run time, changedit, first 1000 break it miles, changed it again). Now it runs Mobil1 full synthetic and Lucas additives. I’ve only got a few thousand miles on this setup, it’s basically just broken in. I just went through and rechecked/tightened everything front to back. I religiously warm this thing up before driving anywhere, I don’t do burnouts or donuts, and I’m not a street racer. This setup should make every bit of 440hp at the tires, which is roughly 550hp at the flywheel (at 20% drivetrain loss). I have not had it on a dyno. I don’t drive this nearly as much as I’d like to, and when I began building it my wife worked and I didn’t have any kids. Now I have 2 babies so keeping this car doesn’t seem reasonable anymore. HAGERTY CLASSIC CARS VALUES THIS CAR AT $18,300 (GOOD) TO$22,900 (EXCELLENT) – and rising…
