Vehicle description
You are viewing a very clean and rare Cutlass Supreme Convertible with the rear bench seat. Overall this is a great cruiser that needs nothing major. I did the very important timing belt service so that is out of the way for many more miles of driving. Replaced all pulleys, tensioners and hoses and the car drives like a dream, smooth and quiet, and gets incredible gas mileage. Service done less than 1,000 miles ago. Replaced the rear brake light switch and turn signal lever that typically fails on these cars. Brakes are good, rear lines replaced less than 1000 miles ago.
Paint is in good shape minor fading on the front and rear bumpers. The interior is good, other than the driver seat that is torn and worn the rest of the interior is excellent. Carpets are clean and no holes, tears or other blemishes other than a minor crack on the dash. Transmission shifts great, no issues and all electronics with the exception of the power antenna work as they should. The biggest issue which isn’t really an issue for me is the power top does not work. I put it up and down manually and I am unsure if it is the motor or the hydronic lifts. All glass and windshield is good. There is one small area of rust right above the molding behind the rear wheel well on the passenger side. The car is always garaged so I do not know if the top leaks, when I wash it I do see minor water on the seat and the rear window sweep needs to be replaced on drivers side; passenger side is great. Wheels and tires are good, no curb rash. Body is clean straight with minor scratches and scuffs, well below average for its age.
It’s a great car that needs little to be perfect. I am selling because I have honestly lost interest in it and have other cars I want to restore. This is a perfect weekend cruiser, car for the beach or night driving during pleasant evenings.
Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction.
