Vehicle description

What is being offered today is a 68 olds cutless S convertible with a rocket 350 and a 2 speed powerglide. It has been stored away in a garage since 2001. I got it running and drove it all around my yard. It runs fairly decent but will need final tuning due to not running in so long. engine is very responsive as is the transmission. Power steering works great, and the brakes are very good. I never tried the power top but I would guess that it needs attention before use. The car has had previous rust repair. front floors were replaced with actual pans and look very good. the quarters were repaired but the car has some bubbling in some spots. The car needs a trunk pan and needs the frame repaired or replaced. if you are a do it yourself mechanic and are looking for a 20 footer to go get ice cream with you can leave the body alone and plate up the frame and have fun. If you are doing a frame off restoration put a new one under after you take the body off. The rust is limited to the frame. Everything else under the car is fairly solid. It looks to have had a new transmission before it was parked maybe a new oil pan as well. I have the registration for the car ready to go in the new owners name. The top has a few tears in it but I left the car out in the last few rains and I haven"t seen a drop of water inside the car surprisingly. The frame needs serious welding or needs to be replaced. I believe all 2 door gm frames from this era will fit under this car (Chevelle, Le mans, etc). This could be a real opportunity for someone willing to put the work in. Look up the values of these cars when they are completed. Thank you for your interest. If you have any questions please don"t hesitate to ask. Thank you
