Vehicle description

One of the rarest production cars in US history, the 3000gt VR4 Spyder was and still is a marvel of a car. Twin Turbo, AWD, Electronic Controlled Suspension, All Wheel Steering, Active Areo System, and so much more. Couple that with the first hardtop convertible sold in the US since the 1959 Fairlane, Mitsubishi pioneered the modern hardtop convertibles. Originally sold for today"s money of $115,000, only a little over 1,000 were produced, and only about 200-300 VR4"s were ever sold.
NADA Values the VR4 for $22,000. With the mileage and rarity, I talked to me bank and they said they would loan someone $22,000 to buy this exact car. (Not saying go to my bank, just that your bank should too.)
The car has been garage kept by both me and the previous two owners since 20K miles for sure. Before that I do not know, but looks great underneath. I have had the car since around 55,000 miles. I have never driven it hard, but have driven it on many trips. The paint is not perfect, but you have to get close and examine it to find the wear from its use and age. Looks as beautiful as ever. The car has been garaged for a few months, I drive it every once and a while so it doesn"t sit. I just decided to stop putting miles on it, and now have an investment opportunity that I am selling this for.
New TSW wheels and tires. Newer front brakes, slotted and drilled. New Alternator, Newer Red Top battery. New touch screen stereo/DVD player, new sound system, and comes with a backup camera that I never installed. New Iridium spark plugs, and 8.5mm wires. New upper intake gasket.
At 54,000 miles it had a new timing belt and accessories installed. As well as a rebuilt transmission, new lightened flywheel, and 6-puck disk and pressure plate. Has a new slave cylinder. Redline fluids in the transfer case and rear differential. Transmission is running OEM Mitsubishi fluid. Engine uses Royal Purple synthetic. Open air intake, and newer wheel bearings all around.
The bad? Clutch slips. Possibly an adjustment issue because it didn"t start happening until I adjusted the clutch pedal to achieve earlier engagement. Problem is I cant get it back. My assumption is because the Master Cylinder has 91,000 miles on it, it probably leaks or the auto adjust valve is stuck or something. Considering the car has a 6-puck disk with newer pressure plate and flywheel, and never ran hard since the install of them, there"s no way the 6-puck would slip. BUT, I have it priced exceptionally well. So even its a new clutch time, this is one of the best deals you"ll ever see on a VR4 Spyder. Other than that, never lost a drop of oil, never any problems other than this. I still drove the car on a 4 hour trip with the clutch, just cant spool the turbos too much or it will slip. Only other thing, is the e-brake handle is lose, I think a broken bolt? Still grabs and doesn"t go down hills.
Thank you for reading, and good luck.
