1995 Jaguar XJ6. X300 4.0L I6
Thanks for looking at this classy Jaguar. In exceptional condition for a 1995, the car is ready to drive. Runs excellent. Starts, shifts drives beautifully with all the lights, heater, AC, dash controls, cruise control working perfectly. It has no oil, coolant, or fluid leaks. The only driving issue is a slight steering wobble between 55-65 mph - I have not yet had the tires balanced which might likely fix this minor wobble.
The original paint is in very good condition with a few "parking lot" blemishes - please see the right rear bumper corner for the worst paint damage-not bad at all. The body panels are perfectly straight. Also a few paint chips around the nose, many of which have been touched up by hand over the years. The prior owner (since 2004) was very proud of this car and kept it nearly spotless. The car is incredibly clean. The original wheels in excellent condition with their Jag center caps.
The car has some minor interior issues which are common to these models: the spring loaded cup holder in the center console has been removed and the leather cap spot glued into place. Does not affect operation of the console itself. The clock display is inoperative. The radio plays but the right side door speakers don"t work. The headliner is sagging but currently held up with an impressive low cost paper clip solution. the wood trim is completely intact and looks good, though close inspection shows the finish on the wood has hairline cracks, also common.
I just installed new front rotors and brake pads, re-packed the front bearings, installed a brand new battery and wiper blade. Tires are plenty good but there"s more than one brand of tire installed. Full size spare and original manual in the trunk.
The car has a great, solid, quiet ride. I see why people love these cars. Need to sell to help fund my new small business. I will gladly respond quickly to any questions. Located in rust free Nevada. Clean title in hand released with cash in hand or Paypal at buyer expense.
