This 1995 Jaguar Vanden Plas was purchased new from Hornburg Jaguar in Los Angeles, California by the seller’s cousin in January of 1994 and has resided in the city of Long Beach ever since. A single-owner car, it has been driven sparingly and regularly maintained, with full service records and associated documents available. Power comes from a 4.0L inline-six backed by an automatic transmission with sport mode, and just over 70,000 miles are shown on the odometer. With the passing of her spouse, the owner is no longer in need of the car, and this Jaguar is being offered for sale at no reserve, with two keys, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title in her name. The glacier white finish is original and well maintained, with some minor rock chips and corner scratches commensurate with age. The exterior is equipped with a chrome front grille and window trim, a “leaper” hood ornament, fog lights, a power-operated sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and 16” alloy wheels. The wheels are shod in Pirelli P4000 tires which were purchased in 2008. The cabin is upholstered in Oatmeal leather and features burl wood trim and heated power-adjustable front seats. Amenities include automatic climate control, a J-Gate shifter, and a power-adjustable steering column. The interior is in excellent condition with only minor wear and creasing on the driver’s side seat bolster and is unmodified except for the addition of a Pioneer CD player/receiver as a replacement for the original unit. The 4.0L DOHC inline-six produced 245 horsepower and 289 lb-ft. of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission with a sport mode option. An oil change was performed in November, 2020 and less than 100 miles has been added since then. The car holds a current California Smog certificate. A clean Carfax report shows lifetime single California ownership since new and lists mileage consistent with the current odometer reading. All ownership manuals and associated literature are included with service records dating to 1995 and confirm regular maintenance. This Jaguar has always been stored in a climate-controlled garage with all maintenance performed by certified professional. A recent service inspection indicated that the car required replacement of rear struts and service of ABS speed sensors on front wheels and that the SRS module may be faulty.
