Vehicle description
Up for sale is my personal 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has been my daily driver for the past year or so and has always gotten me to my destination without fail. Over the past few years, the previous owner and I have replaced numerous parts, including but not limited to: · Fuel injectors · Carbon canister · a/c compressor/clutch, drier, and expansion valve · valve cover/spark plug seals · O2 sensors · Front seat recovering · Hood shocks · Repainted hood/roof · Interior center a/c vents (common failing item on these vehicles) · Upgraded shocks, 2” lift, and coil springs from Ironman 4x4 · Yokohama Geolander Tires 285/75R15 · Refurbished front grill/bumper · Distributor and cap, ignition coil and wires · Radiator · Oil cooler gasket · Starter · Alternator · Power steering pump · New front differential gears, bearings There are several more items that have been replaced/upgraded on this vehicle that aren’t coming to mind at the moment, but the vehicle runs and drives great. I have recently taken it on multiple trips and it has never had an issue. The paint, overall, is in decent shape for its age. From about 10 feet away, it looks great. Upon close inspection, there are typical signs of age, such as the occasional chip and some swirl marks. A paint and body specialist could probably refurbish most if it if that is something that means a great deal to the new owner. When the roof was repainted, two small lines were left on the back columns at the top between the old and new paint. You don’t notice them unless you look for them, but again, a paint specialist could light sand/buff them out. Same goes for a small recleared spot near the hood. If these might be an issue for you, please ask and I will try to get the best pics I can for you to see them. Also, the check engine light occasionally comes on because of the O2 sensors being sensitive to an older engine not running as efficiently as new. It usually turns off less than a minute later. I have removed the catalysts from the exhaust system so it does breathe easier and could also be the cause of why the O2 sensors trip on occasion. I have left the EGR system alone in the vehicle, but removal of this system would not only cause the vehicle to run better but eliminate the O2 problems as well. I left it intact in case this vehicle gets sold to a state where they don’t do exemptions for classic vehicles like they do in Texas. I wanted to be transparent to the new owner about anything that could be a problem, however this vehicle really is an excellent daily driver. We had a hard snow and freeze last winter and some very hot summer days. It always fired up, ran perfectly, and showed me to my destination comfortably and reliably. While the mileage is somewhat high at 364k miles (many last over 500k before a complete rebuild), most everything that needed changing at that milage has been done. I intended to keep it indefinitely, but my job is requiring me to drive more and with a newer, more fuel-efficient vehicle. The money from this will be used to help purchase the new vehicle. I love this vehicle and know it will serve its new owner well. Please contact me with any questions. I want to be as transparent as possible with the sale. Wire transfers, cash, money orders, and cashier"s checks are all acceptable forms of payment. Buyer is responsible for all transit scheduling and costs. I will assist as best I can when giving information to you for transit purposes. It is also for sale locally, and I can be contacted at 830 seven three nine 5703 if you wish to see the vehicle in person. Any bidders that have less than a history of 10 transactions must contact me first or their bids will be canceled. Bid with confidence, these vehicles are getting exceedingly difficult to find in daily driving condition such as this one. Best of luck and thanks for looking!
