Vehicle description
1994 Lotus Esprit S4
I have had the car for a year and a half and enjoyed every minute of it. By far the most reliable "fun" and fastest Esprit Im have ever owned. This one is my fourth. I have had a V8 and this car is faster. I put about 800 miles on it since I purchased it. I just do not have enough hours in the day to enjoy it anymore. The paint is in very good condition with a few rock chips. I have it professionally detailed, and waxed twice since I have owned it. The car has not seen any foul weather either during more ownership. The interior is near flawless. None of the photos have been edited whatsoever. Please let me know if there is any more pictures you would like or have any question.
The timing belt was replaced with a blue belt about 6 years and 18K miles ago. I had it checked back in 11/17 and it was still in great condition. I had a compression test and full inspection done at Regogo before I purchased it. The numbers were 160, 165, 164, 165. Everything else checked out perfectly. The car runs cool even here in the Florida heat. Everything on the car works as it should. The wheels do not have any curb rash. The tires were new when I purchased the car, so they have 800 miles on them and look new. The windshield does have a small chip and is not spider cracking at all.
Upgrades and stuff. Intake spacers from recent group buy Green dot timing gear Alunox peformance header (installed by Regogo) Elise streering wheel with airbag ; have original steering wheel Cat delete pipe, have catalytic converter. Passes smog and inspection in TX with flying colors before I purchased it. New AC compressor along with R12 installed summer of 2016 New piton seal shrader valves for A/C system and R12 fill 11/2017 Upgraded front and rear brakes to later model Esprit Brembo"s. At same time installed SS lines all around. New clutch and flywheel approx 8k miles ago along with new master cylinder New clutch slave cylinder 01/2017 Clutch line upgraded to SS Carpet replaced with German velour, it is seriously the nicest you will have ever seen. Matching floor mats with "ESPRIT S4" stitched. Added speaker panels to front of both doors to match later models. Stereo upgraded to an Alpine double-DIN have unit, works extremely well. 6 speakers total and 2 amplifiers. System sounds great! Integrated Passport radar detector with laser jammer and sensors front and rear. New Spax shocks installed front and rear along with springs summer of 2015 Upgraded rear lights to later model with round taillights. Have original lights and carbon fiber center plinth if want to go back to original Both sunroofs included along with the bag Electric chargecooler Center exit exhaust Red racing ECU chip WC Engineering Fuel Injectors (primary and secondary) Cruise control added, looks OEM. K&N air filter Clutch fluid, full synthetic, replaced 01/2017 Synthetic brake fluid changed 11/2017 AGM battery installed 10/2017 Battery tender installed and included Fresh mobile 1 oil change with K&N oil filter 08/2017
This car is seriously worth every penny and then some. Absolutely needs nothing, mechanically, cosmetically or otherwise. I have a 3" binder full of receipts dating back to the original owner. I have have the repair and parts manuals.
The Vehicle history report shows an accident. It was there when I purchased the vehicle. I spoke with the previous two owners of the car before I purchased it. Both of them told me to there knowledge the car had never been in any accidents and the report did not show any accidents when they purchased the vehicle. I had the car checked out at Regogo before I purchased it and they could not find any evidence. My mechanic also went over the car and could not find any evidence of an accident.
