Vehicle description
You are looking at a 1994 Jaguar XJ-12. It has been in a climate controlled garage for almost (not all) of its life. You can only describe this automobile with one word, "smooth." The six liter, 12 cylinder engine is extremely powerful, yet reserved. The ride quality is exceptional. We have invested thousands in the last three years- a new transmission ($4,000), a new aluminum radiator ($2,500), fresh brakes and tires, new generator unit ($600), and many front-end parts ($2,000). The service records are quite extensive.
In the interest of full disclosure, it is an older car and shows signs of wear. The door handles are in need of adjustment, there is a tear in the driver"s side seat (pictured), some of the burled walnut interior panels are cracking, the trunk carpeting has a stain (pictured), and the headliner is tacked up. The AC is not cool, and the anti-lock brake light is on, although the mechanic tells us that the brakes are fine (and they ar0. There is no rust, and it starts and drives very well. The finish is very good, although there are chips, minor scratches, etc.
This Big Cat was owned by one of America"s leading industrial families for most of its life, but for the last three years. No expense was spared on maintenance. The "Leaper" was even taken to a jeweler to be re-golded.
The price has been reduced for quick sale.
Thanks for looking.
