Vehicle description
Here is one beautiful 23 year old xj12.
The paint shines like new and has a very very nice interior.
The car was garaged for approximately 4 years because it would not pass California Smog. When the prior owner tried to register it in 2016 it again failed smog, but she paid 850$ in back fees.
The car is immaculate and does not even have a scratch on it. It has the usual Jaguar rust bubble at the back window, and I believe two very small door dings. It comes with all the original books and cards that came with the car.
Of course it has some needs, the back headliner of course sags and few other items I may not have noticed.
THERE HAS ONLY BEEN 400 IMPORTED INTO THE US OF THIS YEAR.
The interior is also like new and has the optional wool carpet covers.
I had the brake pads , new wires, plugs, cap and rotor replaced. The car runs and drives great. BUT I HAVE NOT TRIED TO SMOG IT, SINCE I BELIEVE IT STILL NEEDS CATALYTIC CONVERTORS SINCE THEY APPEAR TO BE BLOCKED SINCE IT IS LOSING POWER. PARTS FOR THE DIY ARE 500$
Another project has caught my eye and I want it is why I am selling this beauty.
It has a clean title in my name and fees are paid thru 2018.
If it is sold to California buyer I will not supply a smog because of the above mentioned condition. Out of state get the convertors or do what ever .
