UPDATE BELOW* as of 6/6. .New baby means time to sell Dad"s toy, the 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser that we drove for about one month/year for our 6 years of ownership. Never got around to adding the bars on the front, the basket on top, mudder tires, etc., but you should. Land Cruisers are really fun.
* Engine strong & quiet, transmission shifts great; * Sunroof; * Tow package in back; * Cosmetics fair/scuffy, little trim stuff here and there; * 3 windows need fuses or motor help; * Slow leak in power steering somewhere; been topping off rather than addressing; * Gray leather seats, extra seats in way back; * Cruise control works great; * Owned since 2012; put 22k miles on it since then; * AC blows COLD, just recharged on 6/6; * New radiator in 2012; * New alternator in 2012; * New tires in 2012; * New battery in 2017; * Radio/CD is original, I think; speakers are OK, not great; * Just completed a 1,400 mile trip, no problems. Quiet ride.
Hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it. The little issues with it - slow windows, cosmetics, etc. - shouldn"t be difficult to address at your local shop. Also listed on Savannah, GA Craigslist, so it might sell locally. I will keep you notified. I have only been a buyer of vehicles on EBay, never a seller, so I am learning a bit. Questions are welcome. I would appreciate a good history; if you have zero feedback, I would suggest not bothering. If you have decent-to-great feedback, then have at it.
You could swing in to the Savannah/Hilton Head airport (SAV) and drive home in this beautiful beast. (I can hold the truck, after payment is cleared, for 7-10 days on my property, which is gated and locked. I could also help you out by parking the truck at the Savannah Airport long term lot, if that would make retrieval easier for you. We can discus; I"m flexible.) Thanks, Rob
