Owning a Himalaya is a statement of refined individuality without seeming pretentious.
This particular vehicle is a bit more subtle than our Himalaya Invicta models. This is a Defender as it would have been from the factory with a few aesthetic upgrades.
This lovely metallic bronze Defender 90 hard top has been fully restored by Globally respected custom builder Himalaya Worldwide. Himalaya is located in Charleston SC. This vehicle has been lovingly restored and its expected completion date is June 15.
This truck is a matching numbers Defender. Its beautiful color is complimented by the black interior with alloy trim pieces. Its power train is driven by a new remanufactured V8 engine with 5 speed manual transmission. This truck looks and smells like a brand new Defender. It will drive as do all Himalaya Defenders, like a new car.
The Chassis was stripped, media blasted and repainted. Axles have been fully rebuilt with new seals. New 4 wheel disc brakes, new brakes lines. Fuel system with new pump, new lines New transfer case Original engine has been fully disassembled, and rebuilt to new condition. Cylinders hones, new pistons and rings, heads shaved and overhauled. Gaskets New Piston rings Lifters Camshaft Oil pump New Timing chain, gears, belt Connecting rod bearings Main bearings Pistons Valve train components
