| “I purchased this car to restore—but my life and circumstances have changed. I had the air conditioner changed over to R134 by the Cadillac dealer. A few months later I ran the AC and I believe the compressor locked up. I believe this caused damage to the compressor, alternator, and perhaps other items. I’m not a mechanic, just guessing. I parked it until I could get it fixed. A leak developed in the gas line (under passangers door) and I have kept it parked since. Paint cond in pics. Other items I know to be wrong: a water leak into the trunk when it rains. Needs a new heater core. The Astroroof worked fine until my last drive. I have not had it serviced. CAR MUST BE TOWED. NON-RUNNING. This is a very rare Fleetwood Coupe. Internet research indicates about 800 made in 1991.” |
