Vehicle description

I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime for local purchases or secured offers through other means.
Up for sale is my beloved RUNNING and DRIVING project 780 Coupe. This car is not perfect however it has plenty of potential for any interested buyer desiring to complete the restoration.
I will not post a "the good / the bad" Serious buys know what to ask. PLEASE feel free to ask any questions about the car. Additional pictures are available. Appointments are required for viewing and test drives.
-The radio is not installed as it is a TD series with a bad LCD, bad receptions, and non functional tape deck. The power antenna works. I have a CD814 on the way to hopefully fill the hole. -The passenger seat recline does not work - the plastic gears in the adjusters are stripped and one of the cables is broken. The drivers side is moves exactly as it should. -Neither of the seat heaters work. . I am working with Volvo on this as it was a recall at one point - although Volvo has no obligation to resolve the open recalls at this time. The additional open recall is for a fuel tank seal. -ACC works almost perfectly, however the vacuum diaphragm behind the HVAC box obviously leaks as you can hear it. . Air flow does change direction and temperature correctly. The A/C has at one point been retrofitted to R134a. I has been recently charged. It lost a full charge over the course of 6 years. -The battery works but is hopelessly old -The tires are decent, but again hopelessly old -The suspension and steering looks almost entirely original. . There are a few clunks and the left rear Novimat is toast attributing to a 20 degree off center steering wheel. The PS pump or rack is likely in need of repair as until you go lock to lock power assist is sporadic. She"ll cruise at 80mph without making you scared. -The brakes are of unknown age with sufficient pad life left. -One of the wires from the ballast resistor to harness connector has a short - which would be most easily resolved by replacing the 30 year old part -The dome/map light is missing as the sunroof had PREVIOUSLY leaked into it and shorted it out. -The sunroof frame and seals have attempted to have been repaired. The car has sat outside over this last winter and there is no new evidence of leaks. The sunSHADE is missing the front two spring clips. -The trunk support shocks are shot
*The engine is from a 1994 940 turbo with 125k miles. Upon install, with the exception of the head gasket, most all seals and gaskets have been replaced. *The engine and trans mounts are new *The radiator is new as is the water pump *The primary and intank fuel pumps are new *The shift linkage bushings are new *The alternator is a high output new unit
Please feel free to ask any other questions.
I am presently working to resolve the open recalls as noted on the AutoCheck report.
Thank you!
