Up for Auction is a 1989 Volvo 780 Bertone. I am currently living in Arizona, I moved it here from Alabama in January 2018 and have not changed the title from AL to AZ, So the car is still titled in AL. I purchased the car out of Virginia and had it shipped to AL. I then moved to AZ and shipped it here.
Engine installed is a 94 B230FT+ L Block Engine that i had rebuilt approx 9 years ago, the engine/turbo/transmission has about 4000 miles on it in total. Will need a tune up at this point.
The battery is brand new, I had to install a new battery in 12/09/2018 ( $150.00 ) to verify it did still start and run as advertised. once it is warmed up it will not restart if you turn it off until it cools a little, just sits there and turns over, I suspect a bad coil but never ordered one to try it, I did try replacing Rsr,Fuel pump relay and a bunch of other parts. I did drive it 2 miles today but do not recommend driving it very far until the suspension has work done to it. Does not smoke at all out of the exhaust. No strange noises as well when it is running. Straight body as seen in photos. Grill is missing. The only rust on the car is on the trunk lid shown in pictures.
All the parts shown in the photos in the bin and trunk will go with the car as well.
My goal was to restore the car but life is getting in the way and i just don"t see myself having time for at least 5-10 years.
