“I do have the title in hand along with more documentation from the previous two owners. Mileage is somewhere around 78k. The original owner lost the title and sold it to the gentleman I bought it from with a Notarized bill of sale that’ll be included. The van does have a legal bonded title in the state of the Texas. I’ve spoken to the DMV and they have informed me that there should be a problem with getting a normal title to whom ever registers it next.” |

Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable. Seller"s Notes I do have the title in hand along with more documentation from the previous two owners. Mileage is somewhere around 78k. The original owner lost the title and sold it to the gentleman I bought it from with a Notarized bill of sale that’ll be included. The van does have a legal bonded title in the state of the Texas. I’ve spoken to the DMV and they have informed me that there should be a problem with getting a normal title to whom ever registers it next. Vehicle Details Picked this up from the second owner a few months back to do a Subaru swap. Bought it non running, changed the fuel pump and started right up. The van definitely needs some kinks worked out. I did a compression and leak down test and both were in spec per the Bentley manual. I decided it wasn’t in my best interest to keep another project I probably won’t do anything with. I changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor along with the belts. Full disclosure I am not a Vw mechanic, it would drive but lacked serious power. I ended up changing the tps sensor with one from Gowesty. The van does not like colder temperatures for sure. I would imagine that the tps and throttle linkage needs some adjustments . My personally suggestion is having someone that has experience with the Digifant fuel injection look it over. The van was a original AC van, the original owner took it off due to lack of power in Dallas traffic. I have and will include the brackets for the A/C. The van is in very good shape for the age, the interior is complete and nothing is missing, the rear sliding door needs new clips for the panels. Please see pics for further details. The exterior is also very nice, pretty straight and paint could be buffed. There is no rust on this anywhere at all. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Buyer will arrange for shipping or pick up in person. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
