Vehicle description
Car does not have 17 digit vin. Real vin is shown as the chassis number in last picture.
General
Now is your chance to own a R32 GTR, and modify it the way you want without having to feel guilty about destroying a 9/10 or 10/10 car from an importer. This car was imported under the 25 year rule, and doesn"t have a 17 digit vin. The vin number for this vehicle is the chassis number listed on the blue plate in the picture. You won"t have to worry about someone coming for your car from it being imported illegally. This car hasn"t been driven in the winter since I"ve owned it, and has very minimal rust.
Running / Driving
The car runs, and drives but has an issue with it running rough and puffing black smoke out of the exhaust. I replaced the fuel filter, battery, spark plugs, and put dielectric grease on the coil packs after cleaning them as these cars can have an issue with the coil packs grounding to bracket that holds them. This seemed to have fixed the problem temporarily, but then the issue came back again. It primarily happens when the car is up to temp. I ran a compression test on all of the cylinders right after it had this issue, and got between 155, and 160 PSI on all cylinders. My intentions are to sell the car, and I don"t want to keep messing around with it, so if someone can buy the car for cheaper than I otherwise would have sold it and figure it out themselves then so be it.
Interior
Overall the interior is in good condition. I recently cleaned, and shampooed all of the soft surfaces on the interior of the car. The AC/Radio surround has two cracks in it, one of which has been attempted to be repaired using plastic weld. It also has two holes in it from something that was mounted there at one time. The dash has an unknown mount on it from something that was there previously. The dash on the passengers side does have the standard bubbling on it.
Exterior
The exterior is in pretty rough condition, but is fairly straight. With a little bit of body work you could easily vinyl wrap the car, and it would look like any other car with a vinyl wrap. The two spots on the rear quarter panels are from the previous owner having mounted trailer lights there to make the car street legal in Canada. I filled in the holes, and primered over it. The trunk had 4 holes for the lower spoiler which was removed, and the holes welded in. I covered the holes with body filler, and primer. They are okay, but could use a little bit of a touch up to be 100%. The area above the driver side door on the pillar is from where a tree branch falling on the car before I owned it. I pushed the dent out from the inside, and smoothed over it with body filler, and primer. The front bumper also had side turn signals among other small dings, and nicks. I filled in the holes with a bumper repair kit, and patched up all the other misc spots, and pirmered over the pumper. It could use a little bit of with to be 100%. The passenger side front fender has a spot that has a dent that I have worked on a little bit, but it still needs touched up. Other than that there is different small rock chips around the car. The clips that hold on the side skirts will also need to be replaced as right now they are held on by double sided 3M tape.
Wheels, and Tires
The wheels are B.I.M ZEIT wheels. They are in rough shape with a good amount of curb rash, but they are straight, and with some work I think they would make good looking wheels if you wanted to use them. The tires are old snow tires that I wouldn"t trust to go around the block with. The tires will need replaced asap if you are planning to use the wheels.
List of known mods
-Bride drivers seat -Apexi boost gauge (in bar not psi) -Nardi steering wheel -Unknown cat back exhaust -Unknown coilovers -Apexi pod filters -Nismo strut bar
