up for sale is my imported from Japan 1990 Honda CRX ef7 glass top the car is in over all great shape runs and drive great it is also super charged with a vortech super charger, please feel free to reach out with any question prior to buying that you might have also after you have gone over all the details. there will be a link to a walk around and drive along video post on YouTube
basic run down of the the car is that it s a 1990 Crx Glasstop car imported from Japan the car has had some work done to it over the years this is not a untouchable survivor car but it been tastefully done to how I wanted it for my intended use so if you are looking for the collector car that has never been worked on or modified this might not be the car for you but if you are looking to build that car this is a great base.
the car has under gone a complete color change from gray to NH-0 typeR white. there was and still is no rust or rot the reason for the color change was simply because this is the color I wanted and the original paint on the car was fadded as most 30+ year old Jdm car are. some new old stock parts were used in the body and paint area such as brand new OEM front bumper lights some NOS password Jdm amber corner lights as some NOS password Jdm carbon fiber air ducts in the front bumper also the rear hatch was swapped out for a HF model hatch with the non rear wiper the hood is a VIS racing carbon fiber hood painted to match. all the trim was recondition and painted the same time the lower bumpers were so that they all match.
the drive line of the car is a basis stock B16A found in the Jdm crx it has a upgraded but still very steerable clutch it has 550CC injectors tuned on a hondadata S300 the vortech super charger kit is the kit that was developed for the 99-00 Honda Civic SI back in the late 90"s the kit is 99% complete missing from the kit is the FMU and missing link for the map sensor that was used back in the day to allow for some tuning. the factor power cooler was not able to be used due to this car being RHD and not built around that. the power cooler is included in the sale of the car so if the new owner did not want to keep it super charged they could sell the kit for a good amour being the kit is 99% complete the kit also has and uses the factory water tank mounted in the inner fender as as well at the factory fill. the heat exchanger that"s factory with the kit was not used but is also included a larger heat exchanger was used as far as the exhaust it has a stock exhaust manifold but a header is included with the sale of the car it has a 2.5" manifold back exhaust with a magna flow muffler and stock duel style tips. a old school set of HAsport mounts are use. a brand new shift linkage is used from H motors on that was attached a tyrannosaurs tightener to do away with the "bitch pin" this is a to make for tighter firmer shifter to get rid of that typical honda slop in the shifter. on the other end of the shift linkage is a FLP shifter it is a extended and adjustable road race style shifter to keep you hands closer to the wheel and have shorter throw for firm shifts topped off with a checkered sports shift knob.
the suspicion on the car is a tokico performance and styling package this is a NOS kit I have soured it lowers the car a little bit and stiffens up the handling for better performance it has adjustable white illumina shocks with there sport red springs. it also has some good ridge stainless steel brake hoses as well as some of the bushings threw out have been replaced with hard race brand bushings it has abc pads and sport rotors the wheels are rota C8 wheels wrapped in 205/55/15 tires
the interior is pretty much stock aside from the shifter package covered above. it has a basic radio with blue tooth the hondadata has blue tooth as well to connect with your phone to a tablet for data logging or to view some gauges in real time. it has the power window and the bronze front glass the car originally had A/C but currently it is not installed but all the items are included with the sale of the car. the steering wheel is the factory option leather wrapped steering wheel the seats are the leather bolsterd seats but in typical 30+ year old car fashion the leather on the seats are showing there age and cracking are are in need of some attention the car is optioned with the rear seats and the top of the rear seat is showing the same sun fad and cracks on the leather. the dash is in great shape still. it also has the factory option child restrain belt in the car.
so I think I have covered most of the details if you have any questions reach out and ask. this car was put together with the intent to be daily driven and raced in some novice classes so this car is not that show room collector grade car but it is over all a great car that survived a long time with no accidents and survived threw the part out craze that swept Japan threw the 2000"s causing the now sky rocketing prices of theses car.
the car is currently registered and insured in the state of Connecticut if you are not sure what that means this state has some rule and guidelines in place for older car per the DMV any car 20 years of age or older is no longer re issued a title the car per there rules is to be bought and or sold using the valid or old registration and a (q1) forum. please reach out to your local or state DMV and see what is required to register it on your end and if more paper work is needed please have that handy when buying this car for me to sign. or if you are having the car shipped please be ready to send that paper work to me to be singed and sent back.
