Vehicle description
Up for sale is a clean California (rust free) 1990 Honda CRX DX with the original engine and transmission. This car runs absolutely great, and I recently (in the last 6 months) replaced or added the following items:
-AC compressor/condenser/drier (AC blows ice cold) -Imported from Germany: Euro spec OEM rear seats, in perfect condition. They fold down as well -Civic EK front seats mated to stock CRX bottoms/rails -All engine and transmission mounts are new -OEM replacement muffler, connected to cat back aftermarket exhaust- car is as quiet as stock -Steering rack boots/grease -K&N drop in air filter -4 wheel alignment -All radiator and heater hoses -thermostat -Rear control arm bushings -All 4 shock absorbers new (Monroe) -Eibach Sportline springs -Fuel filter -Hatch gas struts -New clear bumper and corner lenses -CRX Si door panel cloths, sized and attached to OEM DX doors -OEM front lip -2000 Honda Civic Si Wheels with new center caps (tires have good tread) -Replaced all broken or worn interior trim pieces -Painted all faded interior trim -Ash tray cup holder -Civic EK armrest (I also have the original CRX e-brake panel) -Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs -Hidden fuel pump kill switch -Pioneer stereo -optional rear speakers installed
Pros: -Super clean car, inside and out -Rust free California car- absolutely no rust anywhere -Clean title -Super reliable -Well cared for by an adult perfectionist- every small detail noticed and addressed -I"m the 3rd owner (of a 31 year old car) -above range score on AutoCheck report -Passes smog with flying colors -Runs really smooth, feels like a new car -Comes with many spare parts and 2 repair manuals -2 sets of keys -All receipts included
Cons: -small oil leak from oil pan (I have the gasket, I just haven"t had time to install it- it will be included in sale) -small patch of mismatched paint in rear window area (about 6 inches in diameter) -Paint job has some minor runs -Automatic transmission (really easy and cheap to convert to manual) -high mileage -wheels could use some refinishing
