| “1989 Merkur XR4Ti 2.3 turbo automatic in mint shape, radiant red with black leather heated seats, the car was restored in 2011 and was driven on a regular basis with my wife transporting are kids. The motor and transmission were fully rebuilt , the car has been professional repainted by me and only the roof and hatch are original paint, the cruise control and the driver side heated seat recently stopped working . The temperature gauge sometimes reads low or high, but all other gauges work. The car has about 175,000 miles on it with 50,000 on new motor and tranny. The A/C is converted to R134 and is cold and heat very hot. There’s a ton of documented work. The car has Scorpio rear disc brake conversion. It’s been driven to the Ford Nationals several times and has won awards. It’s been reliable and is still being driven. Last year it had a new PS rack, new front suspension, rebuilt front hubs with new wheel bearings. It has a 5speed differential and 5 speed cop. I have a T9 , $300 extr” |

1989 MERKUR XR4Ti radiant red with raven leather interior with 2.3 turbo and AUTOMATIC transmission in very nice shape. My wife drove it as a daily driver to transport our kids. I restored it in 2011 with a fully rebuilt motor and transmission . I professional resprayed the car in PPG Deltron DCC radiant red single stage ,only the roof and hatch are still the original paint in nice shape. A Car Fax report won’t show this , but the car must of been hot in the psssrnfer door and a new FORD door was used at the time ( door is missing a vin tag and I know from my professional experience it was replaced with a new door) Everything works except the cruise control and driver heated seat went out. The A/C is converted to R134 and is cold and heat is very hot. I have documents for most parts and most of the work. I did 90 percent of the work. The car drives great and is still being driven. The ROTA wheels were put on last year with new BF Goodrich tires with 1,000 miles on them. The car has a 5 speed differential and 5 speed computer which makes it fast in town , but not the best highway cruiser. I have a T9 tranny for $300 extra. I will not do the tranny swap, so don’t ask. The paint and interior are an 8 on a 10 scale. It’s not perfect , but looks very presentable. It’s been driven to the Ford Nationals twice in PA and won awards both times.
