Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1989 Eagle Premier is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes Comes with extra 48k transmission Vehicle Details Needs restoration or use for parts car, very solid car. I owned this car about 20 years ago. So very surprised when out driving around recently and spotted her sitting in the weeds. Sentimental feelings made me save her and thought I wanted to tackle restoring her. I’ve always liked underappreciated cars as you might have guessed. I know the history of her completely. Bought new in 1989 from Earehart Dodge Jeep Eagle in Beckley WV by a school teacher. She traded a blue 87 Dodge Lancer in for it. She later traded it back in in ‘93 for the new Dodge Intrepid. Earehart Dodge kept the Premier and just used it to run around in. Probably couldn’t find a buyer lol. I noticed it on their lot two or three years before I asked about it. They were an old school dealer…almost like a hoarder. I recall them having another Premier, a couple of early 80s Imperials…basically a bunch of Iacocca stuff which I love. I kept it for a couple of years and sold it and just a couple of months ago found it from the guy I sold it to. He had the transmission rebuilt in 2007. Of Course you can’t get anything done right anymore and I’m told it never would shift into second gear right. Frustrated he parked it and never drove it again. The inspection sticker expired 11/07 which confirms that. When my sentimental highs were at peak I bought a new battery for it and a replacement 48,000 mile transmission that is sitting on a pallet. You will get that as well. The high is over. I just don’t have the time or energy to fool with it. She’s solid, but she’s rough. Smells of mice from sitting. Gas of course smell extremely old. We car it to start a couple of times with the old gas and starting fluid. Interior is faded. I’d really hate to see it crushed. I think it could be saved. Let me know if you have any questions. I do have the title for her. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
