Up for sale is one of the very few red Avanti convertibles from 1989. These were all custom builds so there isn"t much in the way of stock information. Previous owner replaced the engine with a smaller (it"s still a huge V8) new corvette engine. All history as far back as the mid 90"s in tact in the form of receipts for all work done. According to another seller some years ago, this is one of only eleven red convertibles made by Avanti in 1989. There are some very small cosmetic flaws shown in the pictures, along with an unfortunate stain on the passenger side dash. A professional auto detailer rendered this un-treatable. Still remarkable shape for a thirty year old car that was a daily driver for about six years. Low mileage, great shape, runs very well. I"m not a car guy, this car was willed to my father by a deceased friend and me taking legal ownership was the most expedient thing to do. I"m sure some interested buyers will have some specific questions about this and I will do my best to answer them. Car is in storage so replies may take a few days for me to answer.
