This 1988 Toyota Pickup 4x4 V6 5spd has had $7,000 + spent in preparation for sale. Drives as well as it looks and is ready for its new home! It was built in May of 1988 and delivered new in Saskatchewan, Canada.

I believe it stayed with the original owner from 1988 until 2020. The father/son I purchased it from said they purchased it from the original owners. That was also a father/son and as the story went, the son played professional hockey in both North American and Europe.
In the past year a lot has been spent on mechanical to ensure it is ready for the next owner. The father and son I purchased it from spent approx $2500 and I have added another $7500 in improvements and maintenance. The truck drives very well and pulls as it should. I also own a 1988 4Runner with the same running gear and the truck performs better in fact.
The first owners upgraded the bed to a replica fiberglass unit. Looks and operates like the original however without any fear of rust - EVER. The truck was repainted in its original colour, likely at the same time as replacing the box and adding the Lund cab accessories. Mileage is 386,000km or 240,000 miles. The frame still shows original black paint in places and has no rot or rust beyond visual light surface.
