About this vehicle This 1988 Jeep Cherokee is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 169K. Pretty straight body, but would use for parts. Has some surface rust from it"s time in WA and Utah, but pretty clean otherwise.

Modifications:
AC Bypass Pulley and all AC Equipment removed
Open Cooling system and Heater Control Valve Delete
4 Hole Injectors from K Suspension
Pros:
Newer Battery (1 year ago)
Practically rebuilt front axle: Timken hub, spicer ball joint, axle shaft u joint, disk and pads.
Rear axle bearings, retainer plate, new drums and shoes. (e brake still loose)
Cons:
Heat only works on Defrost (has newer blower motor)
Motor is blowing by a lot of oil out of crankcase and I believe it to need new rings. Has rough idle and sometimes does not start and will just continue to crank. Usually ends up firing up after 2-3 tries. Does not happen all the time.
Pops when turning sharp, I believe it’s the UCA bushings on the axle side (did not replace, but not certain).
Cut out the cat (it’s in the trunk) and put a pipe in because I thought it was bad. Runs a little rich now.
WA registration and title. (It has been registered in CA before).
Roof Rack lights do not work (I think it might be a wiring bug)
Left turn signal doesn’t flash when the headlights are on in the front, I think it’s a bad ground.
Selling for Parts/AS-IS. I was going to swap all my parts under a newer Jeep but my plans changed. Make me an offer
