Vehicle description
Avanti II. 1987. Vin # 12AAV3220H1000128 . Chevrolet small block V8 Powered.
Condition: Engine starts right up. Runs strong with no known issues. Transmission shifts fine. Brakes are fine. No major fluid leaks are visible. All Gauges work except the Speedometer and Odometer that are not working. Mileage currently reads 62,804. Actual mileage is not known but based on the overall condition I would guess it is less than 100K. Trunk release button in console "clicks" and worked once but is not opening trunk now. Spare tire looks un-used. No Jack. Climate system works but Air conditioning will need a charge. Power window motors run but need work to operate correctly. Stereo system will not power on. Power seats are not working. The Dash Mounted Trip computer has not been tested. Needs overall electrical work for all the gadgets. No owners manual. Original factory rims are missing the center caps. Tires all have decent tread but probably need replacing due to age.
Cosmetics: Paint looks to be original with a flaked spot on roof and fading on the trunk lid. Interior; Seats are excellent with the exception of the drivers seat that will need re-upholstering. Dash top is fine with no cracks. Wood Dash and Console are aged and could use re-finishing. Weather striping is aged and could use replacing. Door panels look ok but are missing the grab straps. Rear view mirror needs to be re-attached. Passenger outside rear view mirror needs a new mirrored panel. All glass is fine with no cracks. No evidence of accident damage.
History: Car is listed for my best friend who bought it to restore. Sadly due to recent serious medical issues he is unable to do it.
Title: Clear, clean signed off Title. Due to covid, our NV DMV is 3 more months out for an appointment. No "Salvage" or "Re-Built" issues.
Summary: Car deserves a Restoration.
