Up for sale is this beautiful 1987 Jaguar xj6. Collector owned and always garaged. Drives like you"re riding on a cloud. Selling to clear garage space for a new classic in my collection.
This was a one-owner car that spent its entire life in Miami Beach, Florida. I acquired the car from a Florida Dealership and had it shipped to Virginia to add to my collection. Who hasn"t had an Jaguar on their bucket list of cars? Finally checked that off my list. I"ve added a couple hundred miles and had it mechanically sorted.
Zero rust. The paint is original and so is the like new interior with handsome leather seating with minimal wear. Truly a magnificently well preserved Jag. *1987 was the final year of the classic xj6 body style and is mechanically considered the most robust. The exterior is excellent. .several very small marks and dings as expected. Chrome and glass is excellent. The photo"s tell the story.
15 inch stock wheels on tires showing approximately 90% tread. Excellent headliner Electric sunroof opens and closes as it should rare Nardi wood steering wheel all jacking tools no leaks, starts every time and idles smoothly, no smoke
*Recent service (June 2020):
New power steering rack boots New rear brake rotors New rear brake calipers New rear brake pads New rear brake hoses New rear trailing arm bushings, front and back Fresh oil/filter change all fluids checked and topped off.
As pictured: The car comes with original owners wallet and manuals, shop manual and a thick file of service receipts. Also included: various new extra parts as shown.
Currently titled, registered, insured and on the road in Virginia (antique registration). Clear Virginia title showing actual miles.
Needs: a/c was recently blowing cold but needs a charge original radio works but electric antenna is in the down position fuel gauge not working (not sure if it"s the gauge or sender) rear drivers door window switch is balky
