About this vehicle This 1987 Ford mustang LX Notchback is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. Vehicle Details Up for sale is one beautiful 1988 LX Notchback 5.0 Mustang. A lot of money has been spent on this build over the past years. No cheap crap parts were used. Motor is a 302 stroked to a 331 and has Aluminum GT40 SVO 303 heads, E303 camshaft, GT40 intake, arp bolts throughout. 70mm throttle body with 42lb injectors. Also has a bad ass Vortech supercharger V3 with full custom piping and built intercooler. Transmission is a 5 speed with a King Cobra Clutch Kit and Hurst Shifter. Rear end is an 8.8 and has 373 gears with a posi. Drivetrain has about 15k miles since being rebuilt. BBK equal length Shorty headers with 2.5” flow master exhaust. Paint is newer and is in great shape. No rust. No bubbling anywhere. Has a small chip or scratch and couple dings here and there. Paint is beautiful. All body panels are original except the hood. It has the best hood out there for these cars and it was made by Cervinis, has a 2/12” cowl. Beautiful hood inside and out and great fit. Interior is in great shape. It has later mustang seats which are much more comfortable and look so nice. Super cool looking car and runs and drives awesome. Plenty of power. Car was put on the dyno and has had a good tune. It made 407hp to the rear wheels. Have a bunch of paperwork from when being built. Car needs nothing. Everything all done. Brakes, suspension, tires and all maintenance recently done. Has a lot of money underneath. Has all tubular front suspension. Upgraded sway bars front and rear. Frame connectors were installed. Has upgraded cobra brakes all around. Stops great. Car is super clean. Clean NY title. Heat and defroster are working. Was an A/C car. It is missing the stuff under the hood but interior stuff is all still there. All the lights, gauges, wipers, power windows, etc all work correctly. Will need a radio installed. Wheels are 17x8 in the front and 17x10 in the rear. Tires are new and have very low miles. Tires are all Nitto’s. It has Nitto Drag Radials on the rear. Awesome tire.
