1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi - 5-speed manual 2.6 L
Red exterior with black leather interior Turbo system recently maintained Mass air filter and oil collector cleaned Turbo pressure release door serviced Good Tires Good door and trunk seals Interior in good condition No dash cracks Pop-up headlight motors good All gauges are fully functional Back seat is divided to lower one or both sides for extra cargo space
This Conquest is time-capsuled, no modifications have been done. It’s clean in and out, drives great, and is truly a fun car to own. It is a 34 year old car, there are a few signs of wear, but is excellent shape. I’ve included pics (taken in October ’21) of the undercarriage to display how clean it is. This is a rebuilt title vehicle, involved in a deer collision in the mid 90’s. There are slight cosmetic issues noticeable.You are welcome to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle, or set up an appointment to view it in person.
Needs work:
Steering wheel radio buttons show wear and aren’t functioning, I suspect its a fuse. They have been working until just recently.
A/C - I was told by the previous owner that the conversion had been done, I haven’t chased down why the air doesn’t blow cold.
Wheels - the polished wheels could use cosmetic repair. The pictures will show where they could use a fresh machine polish.
Parking brake sensor - The BRAKE light stays illuminated after the parking brake has been taken off. I’ve removed the rear wheels to check if the brake is engaged or stuck, the disengaged parking brake sees no engagement on the calipers, so I think the sensor itself is faulty. It eventually goes off after the car has been driven for a bit.
Cassette player - the radio functions properly, but the cassette deck will not play.
Antenna motor - the antenna needs to be replaced, it is broken on a lower extension and doesn’t raise although the motor engages properly.
Pass. side tail light assembly - the seal has a leak on the taillight assembly on the passenger side. It takes in water during a wash or rain.
Road rash on lower spoiler/nose cap - there are specks of chips on the front cap and lower spoiler.Fiberglass damage on lower spoiler - There is a corner chipped in the fiberglass of the lower spoiler, see pics.
