Up for bid is a 1987 Buick Grand National with the very rare ASTRO ROOF AND POWER SEAT OPTION true original california barn find! This car is factory down to the air box setup. The car had been sitting 14 years in the owners, daughters rv garage since his passing when I purchased it. The car has been kept nearly all factory besides the aftermarket tape deck, 6 disk cd changer in the trunk and a muffler added by the prior owner. Upon my purchasing the fuel tank, fuel pump, and fuel filter were changed and the car fired right up. The car runs and drives good but the tires are old and dry rotted so they will need to be changed before I"d drive it very far. Attached will be a short video of me driving the car showing it"s functionality. The car has been kept exactly as I purchased it, all the belongings have been kept exactly as I bought the car keeping the nostalgia of how I found it. The headliner will need replaced but besides that the interior is in very nice shape. When I purchased it there was a little spot that was polished on the back too see the integrity of the paint. It polished up extremely nicely. I think with somebody who knows what they are doing on a paint correction/buff/detail It could be restored to a very dark beautiful black. The only substantial mark on the body I could find is pictured but the body is in extremely good shape, all the original bumper fillers are still intact and in good shape which is rare for these cars since they typically would deteriorate if the cars were in bad weather. I have photos of the entire underneath of the car, showing there is no rot or rust in all the typical spots. Those can be sent to interested parties. The frame shows surface rust but it comes off with a wire brush. Absolutely no rot as it was originally purchased in california and only came to arizona where it was stored. This is a true very nice rare grand national. Upon a little research I figured out how rare the astro roof and power seat options together were.
