About this vehicle This 1986 Toyota Pickup is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Clean Texas title. Vehicle Details 1986 Toyota SR5 4x4. Manual transmission, manual locking hubs, fuel injected. Second owner, bought last year from original owner. Always used Mobil 1/Penzoil Platinum synthetic oil, know the original owner and he used it but did not abuse it. Runs great, shifts nicely. Some light surface rust underneath. Some dings/small dents, a few small rust spots where dinged above rear tires, door guards. Windshield cracked, was going to replace but Safeco only had blue tinted, wanted bronze. $280 locally to do. 10.50s on 3 wheels, new 9.50 on fourth. Previous owner replaced and believe he was in Cloudcroft NM and bought what was available. Was told AC needed recharging, tried conversion but my mechanic skills are not the best. Speedometer/odometer broke in Jan, it was Inauguration Day and I heard a slight whirling sound below floorboard for a min or so. Maybe have filled fuel tank twice since, if that. Mileage reads 198k but has closer to 220k as original owner put larger tires on shortly after buying it new. Horn is activated with button on dash. Everything else works. Took it out once and this is a very capable machine. Brakes, tires, electronics, heater, windows, etc. work. Driver seat has a couple of tears where seams are coming apart, passenger seat is very good, put seat covers on. Have front replacement rotors and pads, not needed now but will include. Would drive it anywhere, can think of no reason it wouldn’t go across country. Starts and runs well. Selling only because I don’t have the time or mechanical ability to maintain and use it. Have 2 other cars and moving in a few months when youngest goes to college. Truck deserves attention and use. No reserve, winner can Zelle or mail $100 hold payment if pickup takes more than a week. Balance due on transfer, prefer going to a bank to confirm funds. Will not accept MO or cashiers checks unless at a bank, too much fraud out there. No reserve.
