I"m currently selling my 86 Buick Grand National. I purchased the car about 3 years ago with intentions of taking it to the track and showing it. Unfortunately I"m relocating and my space is limited. Not sure if it"s considered a factory lightweight but it"s a solid roof no power option car. I have no specifics on the internals of the motor since the gentleman I bought it from acquired it through a trade deal. But fortunately this car seems it was built with the best of everything at the time at no expense spared. Driveline was put together by Ottos up in CT . Externally on the motor it has a larger Turbo, intercooler, larger injectors, 2 catch cans, larger throttle body, custom intake, and there"s an XFI laptop accessible computer controlling it all. Boost is turned down but previous owner has claimed car has gone High nines to low tens in the quarter. I myself have spent between 7 and $8,000 rebuilding the entire front end addressing some issues on the motor and upgrading the rear and brake system. Interior is very nice and there"s a professionally fabricated NHRA certifiable cage. Paint is very nice and so is the body. . has some very very minor blisters coming through on one of the doors. Also seems the floors were repaired at one point. Everything is all metal and no filler was used. This is not a perfect low mileage show Car. Car runs extremely well and leaves straight. .
