Vehicle description
This is a classic FJ60 in excellent condition and has been carefully maintained through the years. It has been in southern California for most of its life, and therefore has very little rust. I purchased it in 2018 and have kept it garaged all the time. When I bought this LC it had 169,000 miles on it, and now has 172,000. I drive it once a week to keep it in good running condition and otherwise it stays in the garage. My goal has been to keep it as original as possible while making sure it remains mechanically sound. To that end, when I first purchased the truck I took it to Torfab (Land Cruiser specialists in Everett, Washington) and had them examine every part of the vehicle and make any necessary repairs, which included updating the cooling system and rebuilding the transmission. It"s in great running condition: starts and runs well, shifts smoothly, and fun to drive. I am selling it reluctantly.
Exterior:
Paint is in excellent condition and body is solid. Never wrecked and no dents in panels. New BFG All Terrain 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires mounted on original chrome factory rims. All chrome trim in good condition, no cracks in windows.
Original front and rear chrome bumpers in great condition. Small dent on back bumper. Engine:
Runs comfortably at all speeds - shifts between all gears smoothly, and transforms effortlessly into 4WD. Engine compartment is stock with working carburetor fan, updated exhaust.
Rebuilt carburetor, transmission, and cooling system with new radiator and hoses
New front Old Man Emu steering arm and shocks, but otherwise original suspension/steering system. Cylinder compression checked at Torfab and all cylinders firing well. Interior:
Original radio factory AM/FM speakers.
All seats and original upholstery in excellent condition with no rips or tears. There are two pin hole marks in the passenger seat. Dash has single small crack. Headliner in excellent condition with no sags or tears.
Carpet is original and in excellent shape. The cargo carpet is brand new.
Original owners manual, maintenance log.
This is a classic well-maintained west coast Land Cruiser FJ60 with the maintenance history and receipts to prove it. Serious buyers only please! Clean KY title. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
NOTE: I recently moved to Kentucky from California, so this truck is physically located in Kentucky, where it is now titled.
