Vehicle Details Having to relist the car because like all of you reading this, the last winning bidder lives in the twenty first century, at 70 years old, Im still stuck in the 20th. .I DO NOT TEXT!. the buyer of the car communicated in texts which I never read thinking Id get an e mail or call. .this led to a mutual mistrust and we agreed to end the transaction. .no bodys fault, but as my old pal paul newman in cool hand look found out, what we had here was a failure to communicate. .also, in the short time it was listed I recieved the most hatefull e mails accusing me of all kinds of deciet etc. .so Ill start by saying I have no idea why there is no ac in the car or why the owner I purchased it from didnt hook up the speedo. .not trying to hide mileage. .when I got the car, the tread on the tires was as good as the ones I have currently. .EXCEPT they were completely dry rotted from lack of use. .not worn out because the car had been driven so much. .the furthest Ive driven the car was aprox 200 miles from greenville sc to charleston sc. had no issues. just an awsome fun ride. .a bunch of questions asked if I thought the car would make it to? ? pick a city. .the answer is that given how good the engine is. no leaks, no smoke, great oil pressure, instant start up. the drivetrain would make it anywhere BUT, are you going to trust that a fan belt/water pump/alternator. the external parts are going to make it?. Its a 35 year old car. .thats barely been driven in the years Ive owned it. nobody can guarentee that on any car. .is it worth getting stuck in nowheresville texas? at any rate, here are the details of the car. .PAINT. the tinyest chip on top of drivers door. rest of paint is perfect. if the car had been driven even the least little bit, it would have road chips behind the large tires at the rear. .not one single chip. DRIVETRAIN. .the original fiero engine has been replaced with a supercharged 3.8 from a 92 bonneville so the car is now really fun to drive. sounds awsome. .just like the real piece of crap ferrari 308 I once owned. .It has the 5spd/overdrive transmission. clutch is good. .brakes are 4 wheel disc that also work as they should. .the cheap looking interior that you find in almost every replica. .and a dead giveaway that the car is a replica has been replaced. .there is a company that makes what they call a PISA interior for fieros that looks like the ferrari interiors. .those kits cost about 3k and are hell to install but gives you the feel of a ferrari when your in it. this car has that installed. .in the center console, there is a hole where the window switch goes. Ive found the two better replacements I got years ago. .the windows and lights go up and down slowly. .more from lack of use than being broken. .Ive never taken the car out at night and just touched the wires together for pass window to work. but switches are included. .just a plug in situation. Ive been on ebay since the beginning. .bought and sold all kinds of cars. .never had a bad anything review. .I just replaced the weak battery a couple of days ago and did an oil change as I couldnt in good concience let the car go knowing they needed to be replaced after someone paid full price. even though I had disclosed it. .just not a fair thing to do. Ive included better pics of interior and proof of title and ownership. .THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING OF ALL. .I NOW LIVE IN CORPUS CHRISTIE TEXAS. .its nowheresville and the cost to transport the car is going to cost alot. .figure at least $1400 to east coast. please please figure out that cost first before you bid. .is it worth blowing your covid check for transportation of this car?. . I dont want a deposit. just overnight a cashiers check to my wife who is a VP at Klieberg bank here. once it clears, Ill overnight ya the title and will let car leave my driveway. .if your not comfortable handling the transaction that way, I understand, but please dont bid on the car. .I understand every ones mistrust these days. .I never purchased this car with the intention of really driving it. Im lucky enough to have others for that. . I have zero understanding of art. but there was just something about the way this car looked as I came down my stairs every morning that made me feel good about my day. .I no longer have that luxury as I sold my house in sc and now have absolutely no room in my driveway and garage. so all of them are going. .this car will drive you insane when you take it out. .people just love to look at it. .ask me anything you want, BEFORE YOU BID. but if youre one of the many haters I heard from a few days ago. .lifes to short. .good luck bidding.
