About this vehicle This 1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SL is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes $500 deposit due right away Exterior 1985 Mercedes SL380. Runs and drives good. Hard top convertible. The car can be driven right away. The Mercedes is an 8cylinder automatic, there are no leaks under the car. It does need a few things. The latch for the top is a little sticky but it will work, there are 3 small tears in soft top (see pics), tires have good tread and hold air fine but are a little dry rotted. There is a full size spare and all the tools in the trunk. The car has a new battery. The trunk has some cracking in the paint, but the rest of the car’s paint is in good condition. Passenger side lower molding needs a few clips. I use the car about 3 times a week with no problems. It shows 161,000 miles, but the odometer stopped working not too long ago. There is no rust on the car. The paint will shine nice with a good coat of wax, it is currently a little dirty. This is a good car to do minor things to while you still drive it.
