Vehicle Details This 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL has two owners since new. It sat for about 20 years in the garage after husband passed away. It was started and run a few times a year. Over $5000 in records from rebuilding the fuel system etc and get it serviced from sitting in storage that long. It’s in immaculate condition. It is finished in red with a black convertible top over beige and is powered by a 3.8-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a retractable soft top, a removable body-colored hardtop, chrome Factory wheels, front fog lights, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Becker cassette stereo, and a dealer-installed car phone. Maintenance performed since June 2020 has consisted of replacing the soft top, ignition coil, and fuel filter, installing a Bosch alternator, and rebuilding the fuel distributor. This R107 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a first-aid kit, a Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title. The exterior is finished in Signal Red (568) and features a black soft top that was installed in November 2020. Equipment includes a body-colored hardtop, fog lights, chrome mirror caps, chrome bumpers with black overriders, and a retractable antenna.
