1985 Mercedes-Benz 300CD - W123 Body
This is a 35 year-old car. It is old. It is not perfect and it will not win any shows.
It does run and I use it as a daily driver, but it is tired and has numerous little things wrong with it.
With a little TLC, it could be special again, but I simply do not have the time to devote to it.
BUT, it is reliable, the engine is strong and the turbo-charger works just fine.
The original Becker radio is gone, but the electric antenna does work.
The A/C does works with a charge, but generally stops working after a month. Likely needs a compressor rebuild.
The vacuum system leaks here and there, but the car does shut-off just fine.
The paint is failing on the roof and trunk lid.
The tread in the tires is good, but the tires appear to be starting to dry-rot.
The interior is black leather and the driver"s seat has a tear in it.
The headliner is starting to fail in a few places, but the sunroof works.
The windows work.
I am selling the car as is/where is.
I am getting older and need to rid myself of some toys and this is one of them.
