This 1-Owner 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 (Chassis: 10901812005728) has been off the road since 1979.
This Example in Particular has 99,000 Original Miles and was Original Finished in Anthracite Gray Metallic (172G) over Red Interior - Very Rare Combination. This 300SEL 6.3 is now ready for a Full Restoration to Remedy a rough body, extensive rust, and interior that has been exposed to the elements over the past 40 Years. The Driver"s side rear end was accidently damaged upon removing this 6.3 from the space that it was stored in.
This is a Rare Opportunity to Restore and Owner a Major Piece of Mercedes-Bens History.
As you can see in the pictures, this example is original, complete, and has not been tampered with. There is rust along the upper portions of both front fenders, where the headlights are placed, so both front fenders will need to be replaced. All Glasses and Upper Window Trims are complete and present.
The M100 V8 is Complete and has been untouched nor tampered with. Output for 1971 Model Year US-Spec Versions was 250HP at 4,000 RPM with 369 ft-lbs of Torque.
